Honorary Memberships of the DGIM

During its more than 130 years of existence, the German Society of Internal Medicine (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Innere Medizin e.V.) has awarded the title of "honorary member" more than 200 times to selected personalities, the first time in 1891. Five honorary memberships were revoked again in 2021.
